Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Singapore seeks an experienced DevOps engineer to design, implement and support end-to-end CI/CD pipelines. You will work with Groovy scripts, YAML pipelines, Kubernetes and OpenShift, and automate server-side tasks using Bash and Python while coordinating with vendors for tool upgrades.

The role requires hands-on use of Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Elastic Stack, and AppScan DAST tools to ensure secure, reliable deployments and quick root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Hands-on script development and troubleshooting Groovy scripting, YAML for DevOps pipelines (≤140 chars)
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes and OpenShift DevOps pipelines (≤140 chars)
• Hands-on knowledge in HCL AppScan DAST and Elastic Search platforms
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, xRay

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Manage DevOps CI/CD tools and pipelines across container platforms
• Work with Kubernetes and OpenShift CI/CD build and deployment pipelines
• Handle DAST tools (HCL AppScan) and Elastic Stack components
• Develop server-side automation scripts using Unix/Linux shell and Python
• Collaborate with vendors for tool upgrades and maintenance
• Perform root cause analysis and remediation of pipeline issues
• Support patching and platform maintenance for DevOps tools
