Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer for a 1-year contract in One North, Singapore. You will own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, automate build/test/release processes and establish guardrails across multiple development teams.

You'll manage containerized workloads with Docker/Kubernetes and provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep/ARM or CloudFormation, while improving observability and production reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS DevOps Engineer- Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
• 3 years of experience in: DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering or cloud operations, with significant CI/CD responsibility.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Proficiency with Git, PR workflows and branching strategies.
• Docker and Kubernetes for deployment, config, troubleshooting and ops support.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or cloud-native alternatives (Bicep, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
• Scripting and automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python or Groovy.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or equivalents.

• Develop and maintain reusable pipeline templates, deployment standards and guardrails across teams.

• Provision and manage cloud platform infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Assist cloud management on Azure, AWS and/or GCP (identity, networking, compute, storage, platform services).
• Implement observability with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerts (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, Azure Monitor).
• Implement DevSecOps controls (SAST, DAST, dependency and container scanning, secrets management, policy checks).
• Manage source-code repositories, branching, artefacts, release processes and environment promotion.
• Utilize Bash, PowerShell, Python or Groovy to automate config and ops tasks.
• Examine infrastructure and deployment incidents and perform root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Create technical documentation, platform standards, runbooks and disaster-recovery procedures.
• Pursue perpetual improvement on delivery performance, resilience, security and developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or equivalent platforms.
• Improve delivery speed, quality and repeatability by automating build, test, security scanning, release and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain reusable pipeline templates, deployment standards and engineering guardrails across development teams.
• Containerized workloads management by using Docker and Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, EKS, GKE or on-premises Kubernetes.
• Cloud and platform infrastructure provisioning and management by using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or CloudFormation).
• Assisting cloud management on Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (identity, networking, compute, storage and platform services).
• Responsible for observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerts through tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog or Azure Monitor.
• Implement DevSecOps controls (SAST, DAST, dependency and container scanning, secrets management, policy checks and compliance evidence, into delivery pipelines).
• Responsible for source-code repositories, branching strategies, artefact repositories, release processes and environment promotion controls.

Requirements
