Job summary

INNERGY CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join its regional IT infrastructure team supporting a global logistics organisation.

The role covers cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, CI/CD and production operations. You will collaborate with infrastructure and software teams to build, deploy and maintain secure environments. The candidate will contribute to DevSecOps practices, implement IaC with Terraform, and ensure high availability across 24x7

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud and containerised environments.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes (AKS advantageous).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating environments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and open-source technologies.
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform or monitoring certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications and services.
• Administer AKS environments, including deployment, scaling, configuration and monitoring.
• Manage SQL and MongoDB databases, including backup, performance monitoring and scaling.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds and releases.
• Use Terraform to implement IaC and automate provisioning and configuration.
• Deploy, configure and monitor Kafka across SaaS/PaaS environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell and other languages.
• Implement monitoring and observability for infra and apps, including alerting.
• Support DevSecOps practices and 24x7x365 production operations.

Job description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the regional IT infrastructure team supporting a global logistics organisation.

This is a hands-on role covering cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, CI/CD and production operations. You will work closely with infrastructure and software engineering teams to build, deploy and maintain reliable and secure technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications and services.
• Administer Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including application deployment, cluster scaling, configuration and monitoring.
• Manage SQL and MongoDB database environments, including backup, performance monitoring, scaling and optimisation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, to support automated application build and release processes.
• Use Terraform to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Deploy, configure and monitor Apache Kafka and Kafka Connect across SaaS/PaaS environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell and other scripting languages.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions for infrastructure and application performance, health monitoring and alerting.
• Support the adoption of DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning, security controls and code quality tools.
• Support a 24x7x365 production environment, including participation in evening, overnight, weekend, public holiday and on-call escalation rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of relevant DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud and containerised environments.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, with AKS experience being advantageous.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working with Linux and Windows operating environments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and open-source technologies.
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform or monitoring certifications.
