Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is seeking an experienced DevOps & Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in a regulated banking environment.

You will work with AWS and Azure, Terraform and Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes, and contribute to data platform support, monitoring, and DevSecOps practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration across development, testing, security, and infra teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on DevOps, cloud engineering, SRE, or infra engineering.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Banking or regulated environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, and compliance standards.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform reliability using Splunk and ELK.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Support Databricks, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, data pipelines, and MLOps workflows.
• Collaborate with development, testing, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable solutions.

About the Role

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Good knowledge of AWS; Azure experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting, automation, monitoring, and logging tools.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, MLflow, and data pipeline orchestration.
• Understanding of databases, networking, operating systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in banking or other regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Preferred: AWS certification and experience with DevSecOps, MLOps, and security governance.
