Job summary

Onebyzero is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, and scale infrastructure on AWS. You will design IaC, build CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud resources.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate with software and operations teams, enforce security best practices, and ensure reliability and cost efficiency in production environments.

Additionally, you will drive automation, monitor systems, and help shape engineering culture by sharing DevOps knowledge across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps role or similar position.
• Extensive AWS experience (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS).
• Proficiency with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Strong CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
• Python and Bash scripting for automation.
• Linux system administration (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise.
• Networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, andimplement scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS using best practices.
• Lead the automation ofinfrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools likeTerraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Build and manage CI/CDpipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery using tools likeJenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, andoptimize performance and reliability of cloud-based environments.
• Implement security bestpractices and ensure that cloud environments are compliant with internal andexternal standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-onexperience in a DevOps Engineer role, or similar positions.
• Extensive experience withAWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Strong proficiency inInfrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Demonstrated expertise inbuilding, managing, and automating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions,Jenkins).
• Advanced scripting skills inPython and Bash for automation and tool development.
• Expertise in Linux systemadministration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
• Deep understanding ofnetworking, security practices, and monitoring in cloud environments.
• Experience withcontainerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Platforms: AdvancedAWS Cloud expertise (EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, etc.)
