Job summary

UWC South East Asia is seeking a creative Development Manager (Donor Relations) to lead donor relations and stewardship during the quiet phase of our capital campaign in Singapore. You will design bespoke stewardship programs, refine recognition frameworks for the Dover at Tengah Campus project, and craft high‑impact donor events.

  • Execute annual fundraising event plans, including signature scholar celebrations.
  • Build a donor relations programme with differentiated recognition strategies across segments.
  • Manage campaign recognition inventory, including space naming, plaques, donor walls.
  • Collaborate with volunteers, CRM, finance to ensure accurate documentation and administration.

Job description

UWCSEA seeks a creative, relationship-focused Development Manager (Donor Relations) to lead donor relations and stewardship strategy during the quiet phase of our capital campaign. Reporting to the Head of Development, you will drive bespoke donor stewardship, refine recognition frameworks for the Dover at Tengah Campus project, and design high-impact events. You will also innovate stewardship using CRM automation and AI to enhance donor experiences, impact reporting, and retention within a vibrant, mission-driven global movement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop bespoke reports conveying giving impact to individual donors and the wider community while collaborating with educators to capture meaningful stories.
  • Execute annual fundraising event plans, including signature scholar celebrations and tailored cultivation events.
  • Build a best-in-class donor relations programme with differentiated recognition strategies across donor segments.
  • Manage the campaign recognition inventory system, including space naming, plaques, donor walls, and personalized plans for high-net-worth donors.
  • Partner with volunteers, database, gift administration, and finance teams to ensure accurate CRM documentation and programme administration.
Person Specifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in development, philanthropy, or fundraising, or transferable expertise in stakeholder engagement, communications, and events.
  • Strong communication skills, familiarity with CRM systems, and high comfort using AI tools to streamline processes.
