UWCSEA Dover is seeking a Senior Boarding Services Executive (Maternity Cover) to join the Boarding team. The role coordinates boarding operations, maintains student records, and supports the Residential Life Curriculum with a warm pastoral approach for 13–19 year-olds.

UWCSEA Dover is looking for a Senior Boarding Services Executive [Maternity Cover] to join the Boarding team. The contract would be from 1 October 2026 to 11 March 2027.

The Senior Boarding Services Executive coordinates boarding operations independently and collaboratively, working alongside leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day house functioning. Responsible for administrative precision, student documentation, and operational projects, this role balances administrative efficiency with warm, approachable pastoral support for diverse boarders aged 13-19. By managing routines and building positive connections, the Executive helps cultivate a strong sense of belonging, inclusion, and safety across the residential life community.

The Day-to-Day

• Manage daily boarding house operations, boarder administrative procedures, pocket money accounts, travel logistics, and medical appointment accompaniments.
• Coordinate term break annual shutdowns, vacation preparations, facilities maintenance, and inventory work during school holiday periods.
• Serve as key liaison connecting houseparents, clinic staff, facilities teams, parents, and external suppliers to provide seamless student care.
• Execute special operational or pastoral projects assisting leadership to implement the Residential Life Curriculum and Boarding Manifesto.

The Details

• Bachelor's degree in social/educational fields (e.g., Teaching, Counselling, Social Work) or post-graduate qualification or diploma with 5+ years of boarding experience could be considered
• At least 2 years of previous boarding or educational experience in a student-facing role with proven operational coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide consistent pastoral care, build respectful relationships, multi-task using G Suite tools, and communicate effectively in English.
