Job summary

SHENGMIN INTERNATIONAL MARITIME CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent accounting assistant to support our finance team in Singapore.

You will enter data into accounting software and spreadsheets, assist with basic financial reporting, and help process invoices and payments. You will also assist with bank reconciliation, petty cash management, filing tax returns and other compliance documents, and help close month-end and year-end processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into accounting software and spreadsheets accurately.
• Assist with preparing basic financial reports.
• Help process invoices and payments for accounts payable and receivable.
• Support in reconciling bank statements and managing petty cash.
• Assist with filing tax returns and other compliance documents.
• Aid in closing month-end and year-end processes.
• Provide general assistance to the accounting team as needed.
