Job summary

SYNTAX ENCLOSURE SYSTEM PTE. LTD. is seeking a Designer/2D and 3D Mechanical Drafter to produce detailed engineering drawings for enclosures and cabinets. You will render drawings, select materials, and consider manufacturing processes to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.

Responsibilities include translating concepts from sales and engineers into 3D and production drawings, collaborating with production, and staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Field of Study: Precision Tool Engineering & Design.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in 3D Modeling, Rendering and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineering drawings of a part or product.
• Create renderings and drawings with mechanical systems for enclosures and cabinets.
• Select materials and components, ensuring manufacturability.
• Conduct analysis and testing to validate and optimize designs.
• Translate design concepts from sales/engineers into 3D and production drawings.
• Collaborate with production to ensure drawings are followed.

Job Responsibilities

Designer/ 2D and 3D Mechanical Drafter

• To produce detailed engineering drawings of a part and/or a product
• The drawings (provide rendering drawing) contain mechanical systems for enclosures, dimensions, materials and standard components such as Aluminium Profile, Sheet Steel enclosure/ cabinets, considering factors such as material selection, structural integrity, and manufacturing processes
• Conduct analysis and testing to validate and optimize designs
• Work closely with sales person/engineers to translate their design concepts or requirements into 3D technical drawings and production drawing
• Work closely with production team and oversee the product was produce accordingly to drawing
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Field of Study : Precision Tool Engineering & Design
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience
