Job summary

AEM, a Singapore-headquartered global leader in semiconductor and electronics test solutions, seeks a Reliability/Test Engineer with 2–5 years in design quality or test engineering in high-tech manufacturing.

You will develop qualification test plans, execute ALT and stress tests, and analyze reliability data to validate new designs. Collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams is essential for driving quality improvements across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of design quality, reliability, or test engineering experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of qualification test planning and test instrumentation.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with statistical methods (DOE, Cpk, t-test) and reliability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute qualification test plans to validate new product designs against defined customer use cases and performance requirements.
• Support ALT and stress testing methodologies to evaluate reliability of critical components.
• Perform statistical analysis of test and reliability data (DOE, Cpk, regression analysis) and prepare clear, structured reports.
• Evaluate component and system-level quality, collaborating with suppliers to drive continuous quality improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting using structured methodologies (5-Why, 8D) with cross-functional Engineering teams.
• Ensure defects identified during qualification testing are documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping within the ALT laboratory environment.
• Conduct routine safety checks and support calibration, upkeep, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, test effectiveness, and process efficiency.

• Perform statistical analysis of test and reliability data (e.g., DOE, Cpk, regression analysis) and prepare clear, structured technical reports.
• Evaluate component and system-level quality, collaborating closely with suppliers to drive continuous quality improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting using structured methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, 8D) in collaboration with cross-functional Engineering teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in design quality, reliability engineering, or test engineering within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of qualification test planning, test instrumentation, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with statistical tools and methods such as DOE, Cpk, t-test, and reliability analysis.
• Proficient in Minitab and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
