Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited is seeking a seasoned project coordinator to join a newly established team supporting the early-stage planning and design of colocation data centre projects across APAC. The role focuses on coordinating feasibility, design requirements and handover to delivery, working with engineering and operations teams.

You will coordinate design reviews, schedules and risks, while managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working on data centre, colocation or hyperscale projects.
• Design management, project management or technical project coordination experience.
• An architectural, MEP, engineering, construction or project management background.
• Understanding of the end-to-end data centre project lifecycle.
• Exposure to feasibility, due diligence, pre-construction, site selection or early-stage design.
• Understanding of hyperscale design coordination.
• Strong organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel across APAC and join occasional calls outside standard Singapore hours to support US-based stakeholders.
• A relevant degree and project management certification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support APAC colocation data centre projects from early planning through to handover to the delivery team.
• Coordinate feasibility studies, technical due diligence and design requirements before a site is secured.
• Support pre-agreement, site acquisition and pre-construction activities.
• Coordinate design reviews, project schedules, risks, actions and design changes.
• Work with engineering, programme, construction and operations teams to align project requirements.
• Manage consultants and internal stakeholders across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain project documentation, risk registers, meeting records and progress reports.
• Identify and escalation technical, cost, schedule and delivery risks.
• Support the transition from design and feasibility into construction and delivery.

Join a newly established team supporting the early-stage planning and design of colocation data centre projects across APAC.

You will play an important role in coordinating projects from feasibility and site assessment through early design, before handing them over to the delivery team.

The position is suited to a broad project management professional with data centre, colocation or hyperscale experience. It is not a deeply technical engineering role; the focus is on project coordination, design management and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Support APAC colocation data centre projects from early planning through to handover to the delivery team.

Coordinate feasibility studies, technical due diligence and design requirements before a site is secured.

Support pre-agreement, site acquisition and pre-construction activities.

What We're Looking For

Experience working on data centre, colocation or hyperscale projects.
