Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale hyperscale data centre programmes in Singapore and the APAC region. You will act as client-side delivery lead, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure safely, commercially, and predictably.

The role covers master planning through MEP fit-out, testing, commissioning, and handover, with responsibility for governance, schedule, risk, and commercial outcomes

Qualifications

• Extensive senior project leadership experience across developer, consultancy, Owner’s Representative, or client-side delivery.
• Experience delivering 100 MW+ hyperscale data centre programmes in Singapore or APAC region.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent accreditation.
• Master’s degree in Construction Management or closely related discipline.
• Deep technical understanding of ACMV, BMS, generators, chillers, switchgear, transformers.
• Strong commercial leadership including capex control, variations, claims management, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of hyperscale data centre campuses at 100 MW+ scale, including civil/structural works, MEP, fit-out, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Establish and govern PMO frameworks, stage-gate controls, programme reporting, risk management, and delivery disciplines across multi-tower programmes.
• Manage major capital portfolios of up to US$2 billion with accountability for commercial controls and cost outcomes.
• Direct integrated project teams of 10–20 staff with peak site workforce up to 1,000 personnel.
• Lead long-lead MEP procurement strategies and supply-chain risk mitigation for critical data centre equipment.
• Coordinate across clients, consultants, contractors, data centre operations teams, supply-chain partners, and authorities.
• Drive programme recovery, schedule optimisation, and milestone acceleration when needed.
• Maintain governance and alignment with Singapore requirements including CORENET X, Green Mark, and fire-safety.

This senior leadership role will act as the client-side delivery lead or Owner’s Representative, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, mission-critical infrastructure safely, commercially, and predictably.

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale hyperscale and colocation data centre programmes in Singapore and across the region. This senior leadership role will act as the client-side delivery lead or Owner’s Representative, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, mission-critical infrastructure safely, commercially, and predictably.

The role spans the full project lifecycle, from master planning and pre-construction through MEP fit-out, testing and commissioning, and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of hyperscale data centre campuses at 100 MW+ scale, covering civil and structural works, MEP, fit-out, testing and commissioning, and handover.
• Establish and govern PMO frameworks, stage-gate controls, programme reporting, risk management, and delivery disciplines across multi-tower programmes.
• Manage major capital portfolios of up to US$2 billion, with accountability for commercial controls, variations, claims management, and cost outcomes.
• Direct integrated project teams of approximately 10–20 staff, coordinating delivery environments with peak site workforces of up to 1,000 personnel.
• Lead long-lead MEP procurement strategies and supply-chain risk mitigation for critical data centre equipment.
• Coordinate effectively across clients, consultants, contractors, data centre operations teams, supply-chain partners, and Singapore statutory authorities.
• Drive programme recovery, schedule optimisation, and milestone acceleration where delivery is tracking against baseline commitments.
• Maintain robust governance and alignment with applicable Singapore requirements, including CORENET X, Green Mark, and fire-safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive senior project leadership experience across developer, consultancy, Owner’s Representative, or comparable client-side delivery environments, with approximately 30 years of relevant project delivery experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering 100 MW+ hyperscale data centre programmes in Singapore or the wider APAC region.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent recognised professional accreditation.
• Master’s degree in Construction Management or a closely related discipline.
• Deep technical understanding of mission-critical MEP systems, including ACMV, BMS, generators, chillers, switchgear, and transformers.
• Strong commercial leadership experience, including major capital expenditure control, variation management, claims management, and commercial governance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex programmes involving multidisciplinary stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CDCP, PMP, and/or PRINCE2.
• Experience establishing or leading PMO governance across large, multi-tower data centre programmes.
• Experience with programme recovery, critical-path management, and acceleration of complex mission-critical infrastructure projects.
