Job summary

JTC Corporation is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design review and advisory process for building projects from Planning & Design to handover to FM Operations. You will collaborate with Customers, Project Managers, Design Consultants and Contractors to embed technical, planning and design reviews across functional, operational and maintenance perspectives.

The role requires strong background in architecture or engineering, and at least 2 years in design, maintenance, operations setup, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Design, Maintenance, Operations Setup and Project Management in building projects.
• Knowledge of planning and design typologies for core & shell and fitted-out projects.
• Familiarity with Design for Maintainability and Design for Sustainability is a plus.
• Experience in overseeing design reviews and coordination with consultants, contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead design review and advisory processes from planning to handover.
• Oversee project briefs, consultant scope, user requirements and project formation.
• Coordinate planning, design and construction reviews for performance and maintenance.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage defects liability period and post-takeover operations.
• Advise on tenancy layouts and landlord compliance for new units.
• Engage stakeholders to optimize maintainability, cost and tenant operations.
• Drive FM operations discussions to ensure efficient building performance.
