Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Architect/Interior Designer in Singapore to lead client-facing design development across all project phases, from concept to technical documentation, with strong AutoCAD documentation and 3D visualisation skills.

The role involves coordinating with project teams, conducting site visits, presenting designs, and mentoring junior designers to ensure design intent is realized within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related built environment field.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience in architectural and/or interior design within Singapore.
• Strong command of AutoCAD for construction documentation.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar.
• Sound knowledge of materials, detailing, fabrication techniques, and construction processes.
• Prior experience in a design-and-build setting is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to client-facing design development across all project phases — concept design, design development, and technical documentation.
• Prepare and coordinate detailed 2D drawings, construction details, and authority submission drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and review high-quality 3D models, visualisations, and renderings to support design studies, presentations, and client sign-off.
• Convert design concepts into practical, buildable solutions that align with budget, schedule, and fabrication requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers, fabricators, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
• Take an active role in client meetings, design presentations, and technical discussions.
• Carry out regular site visits to track progress, review shop drawings and samples, and address design or coordination issues.
• Provide guidance to junior designers through drawing reviews and informal mentorship.
• Research materials, finishes, systems, and construction methods to support project needs and drive innovation.
