Job summary

BuildBridge Partners Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Manager to oversee all technical aspects of building construction projects in Singapore. You will ensure alignment with design specifications, regulatory requirements and approved drawings, while coordinating across architectural, structural and engineering disciplines.

You will guide site teams, liaise with consultants and subcontractors, review method statements and shop drawings, and resolve design clashes and construction challenges

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Proven technical management experience in construction, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
• Experience with building construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical matters across building construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, approved drawings and regulatory requirements.
• Review and coordinate architectural, structural and engineering drawings to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, site engineers and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on design development, submissions and construction details.
• Review method statements, material submissions, shop drawings and other technical documentation.
• Identify design clashes and site constraints, and recommend practical solutions to facilitate construction progress.
• Ensure technical coordination is carried out in accordance with project requirements, standards and regulations.
• Monitor technical issues throughout the project lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.
• Support project teams in resolving design changes, construction challenges and technical queries.
• Lead and guide the technical team to ensure effective coordination and timely delivery of technical submissions.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building or a related discipline.

• Relevant technical management experience within the construction industry, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.

• Experience in building construction projects.

• Good knowledge of construction drawings, technical submissions, design coordination and local building regulations.

  Working Arrangement: 5-Day Work Week
