myFirst Tech Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Design Manager to lead a team of about 12–15 designers across graphic design, 3D, UI/UX, application, product design, web, packaging and brand identity. Designers are based in Korea, Japan, US, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and China, and you will oversee the design and content experience for our online stores.

We are looking for a hands-on Design Manager to lead a team of approximately 12-15 designers across graphic design, 3D, UI/UX, application, product design, web, packaging and brand identity. Designers are based in Korea, Japan, US, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and China. You will also manage the design and content experience of our online websites, working with the e-commerce and marketing teams to keep product pages, campaigns and customer journeys clear, consistent and up to date.
Plan and assign work across the design team, balancing priorities, capacity and deadlines.
Brief designers, review their work and give clear, practical feedback.
Constantly update and fine tune the Brand VI
Maintain a consistent myFirst brand identity across products, packaging, apps, websites, retail materials and campaigns.
Manage website design and content updates, including product pages, landing pages, banners and campaign launches.
Review website navigation and page layouts to improve the customer experience and support online sales.
Coordinate website changes with e-commerce, marketing and developers, and check that updates are published correctly.
Work with Product and Engineering to take product ideas from concept through development and launch.
Review product and packaging designs for usability, customer appeal and production requirements.
Coach team members, identify skill gaps and flag project risks early.
Experience leading designers or managing design projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong art sense.
A strong portfolio showing finished commercial work, preferably in consumer products, electronics, toys or children's products.
Strong skills in at least one relevant design area, with the judgement to review work across other disciplines.
Experience managing website design, product pages or e-commerce creative work.
Comfortable working hands-on while managing the team's output.
Strong organisation and communication skills, with a record of meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with production processes or working with manufacturers is an advantage.
