Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead design team and review shop drawings on C&S design.
• Ensure design deliverables – submission/approval process, procurement, supply, construction, erection, installation, testing and commissioning issues.
• Highlight project risks, design optimization and changes.
• Provide practical construction solutions.
• Coordinate with QPD/QPS and client on engineering proposals and submissions for building projects.
• Manage and control design deliverables involving BIM, technical, contractual and cost issues.

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 civil contracting firms which has a strong construction portfolio in public and private construction projects. They are looking for a Design Manager to participate in tendering process or to manage large scale new complex building project.

Job Description:

• Lead design team and review shop drawings on C&S design
• Ensure design deliverables – design submission and approval process, procurement, supply, construction, erection, installation, testing and commissioning issues
• Highlight project risks, design optimization and changes
• Provide practical construction solution
• Provide coordination with QPD/QPS and client regarding engineering proposal and submissions to carry out construction work for building projects
