Job summary

Tractel Singapore Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Design Engineer to develop engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The role involves supporting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, coordinating with the European parent company, and collaborating with consultants, contractors, architects, customers and internal teams.

You will provide technical support for sales and project execution, participate in regional engineering

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering disciplines.
• Skilled and experienced in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge in Mechanical, Hydraulic, and/or Electrical design.
• Candidates possessing experience in any two of the above disciplines will have an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and correspond professionally with consultants, architects, and external parties.
• Willing to learn and work in a multinational team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Support project design involving Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems.
• Coordinate and communicate with the parent company in Europe on design and technical matters.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, contractors, and customers regarding design requirements and project coordination.
• Provide technical support to the sales and project teams.
• Participate in intercompany design discussions and engineering coordination across SEA projects.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment while also being capable of handling assigned tasks independently.
