Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with AutoCAD experience to join the design team in Singapore. You will develop and improve product designs according to project requirements, and prepare engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

You will create design concepts considering functionality, cost, materials, and manufacturability, develop prototypes, test performance, and maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle. 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
• Must have AutoCAD experience
• Relevant experience in design engineering will be an advantage
• Good technical and problem-solving skills are preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve product designs according to project requirements
• Create and develop design concepts with consideration for functionality, cost, materials, and manufacturability
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD
• Develop prototypes and conduct testing to evaluate design functionality and performance
• Analyse test results and make necessary design improvements
• Monitor and manage design and production-related costs
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, specifications, test reports, and other technical documents
• Maintain proper records of design development throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs meet project and production requirements
