Job summary

5 Masons Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Design Drafter in Singapore to support the design team with drafting, calculations, and layouts. You will work with engineers and architects to ensure accurate drawings and smooth workflow, using CAD software to transform concepts into precise diagrams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields and at least 2 years of drafter experience, plus strong math, analytical, and communication abilities within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design or similar.
• At least 2 years' experience as a design drafter or similar role.
• Working knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and 3D modeling tools (SmartDraw, SketchUp).
• Solid math and analytical skills; knowledge of architectural/engineering design principles.

Design Drafter Responsibilities:

• Collecting structural materials required for designs.
• Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designs.
• Drafting designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs.
• Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs.
• Making adjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects.
• Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards.
• Setting up drawing formats and configuration files.

Design Drafter Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, or a similar field.
• At least 2 year's experience as a design drafter or a similar role.
