Job summary

CLSA Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced settlement professional in Singapore to manage clearing deadlines, daily settlement activities for futures and derivatives, and regulatory reporting. The role requires strong MAS/SGX knowledge and the ability to work with trading, risk, compliance and other teams to ensure end-to-end processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in futures industry, with clearing & settlements, reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of MAS and SGX regulations; experience with SGX CW2, ION XTP, XTP Clearing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage clearing deadlines and ensure timely trade processing per regulatory and client requirements.
• Execute daily settlement activities for exchange-traded derivatives, including cash and FX delivery.
• Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions and cash flows, resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain static data in internal systems (account openings/closures, contract setup, fee updates).
• Ensure settlement activities comply with MAS and SGX requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve settlement processes and reduce operational risk.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly settlement reports to stakeholders and regulators.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, compliance and other ops teams to ensure end-to-end processing.
