Job summary

Citic CLSA in Singapore is seeking a developer of client relationships and trade execution in the commodity OTC derivatives space. You will cover Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

You will provide TRS, QIS, OTC options, and other derivatives solutions, help design structured products, and engage in ISDA negotiations while guiding client account openings. A collaborative, bilingual approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in business, finance, economics or STEM-related disciplines.
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in banking/financial services or commodity industries.
• Familiarity with commodity markets and OTC derivatives trading structures.
• Preferably with valid Singapore work authorization (Citizen or Permanent Resident).
• Outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the launch and development of new products in Singapore;
• Execute trades on client side across commodities assets and work closely with trading, risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth full-cycle trade execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in business, finance, economics or STEM-related disciplines
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., commodity OTC derivatives, futures or spot sales, trading, or business development) in banking/financial services industry or commodity industry
• Familiarity with commodity markets and a solid understanding of OTC derivatives trading structures
• Preferably with a valid Singapore work authorisation (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• Outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin are required due to the need to liaise with both Chinese and international clients.
