Job summary

CLSA in Singapore seeks a client-focused professional to drive development and manage relationships in commodity OTC derivatives across Singapore, Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. You will deliver a range of derivatives solutions, negotiate ISDA, and coordinate onboarding while collaborating with research teams and trading desks.

The role emphasizes strong English and Mandarin communication, and the ability to launch new products within a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, finance, economics or STEM-related disciplines.
• Experience in commodity OTC derivatives, futures, spot sales, trading, or business development.
• Familiarity with commodity markets and OTC derivatives trading structures.
• Mandarin and English proficiency for liaising with Chinese and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships and trade execution across Singapore, SE Asia and APAC.
• Provide TRS, QIS, OTC options and structured products solutions.
• Originate ISDA and other agreements negotiations and manage client onboarding.
• Collaborate with research teams to analyze products and deliver roadshows.
• Lead launch and development of new products in Singapore.
• Execute client-side trades and coordinate with trading, risk, compliance and ops.

Job description

• Responsible for client development, relationship management, and trade execution in commodity OTC derivatives across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region;
• Provide clients with TRS, QIS, OTC options, and other derivatives trading solutions, as well as structured product design;
• Originate ISDA and other agreements negotiations, and manage client account opening processes;
• Collaborate with macro and industry research teams to conduct product analysis and deliver periodic roadshow presentations;
• Drive the launch and development of new products in Singapore；
• Execute trades on client side across commodities assets and work closely with trading, risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth full-cycle trade execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in business, finance, economics or STEM-related disciplines
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., commodity OTC derivatives, futures or spot sales, trading, or business development) in banking/financial services industry or commodity industry
• Familiarity with commodity markets and a solid understanding of OTC derivatives trading structures
• Preferably with a valid Singapore work authorisation (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• Outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin are required due to the need to liaise with both Chinese and international clients.
