Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Operations Support professional to join our busy team. You will perform post-trade validation, reconciliation, and exception management to ensure trade accuracy, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and counterparties.

The role requires supporting weekly close-out activities, following up on outstanding items, and maintaining documentation per procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade support, back-office operations within financial services, commodities, or trading.
• Familiarity with exchange-traded products, clearing processes, and trade lifecycle management is highly preferred.
• Experience handling trade confirmations, reconciliations, settlements, or related operational activities.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to $6,000+ per month
Contract Duration: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Perform post-trade validation, reconciliation, and exception management to ensure trade accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience in trade support, trade operations, reconciliation, or back-office operations within the financial services, commodities, or trading industry.

• Familiarity with exchange-traded products, clearing processes, and trade lifecycle management is highly preferred.

• Experience handling trade confirmations, reconciliations, settlements, or related operational activities.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and investigate discrepancies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems and platforms.

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider operations team.

Preferred Background

• Prior experience supporting trading desks, commodity trading firms, financial institutions, exchanges, or clearing environments.

• Exposure to derivatives, commodities, energy trading, or financial markets operations would be advantageous.

• Experience managing trade documentation, reconciliations, and operational controls across the trade lifecycle.
