Job summary

SXC in Singapore is seeking a Deputy Security Manager to lead a team of security officers at our sites and offices, ensuring a safe and secure environment. You will oversee induction, access control, patrols, and risk assessments while coordinating with authorities and planning rosters.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in security management or equivalent, 7+ years of experience, a PLRD license, and strong leadership with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in security management or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• PLRD license is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Willing to work in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead security officers to ensure a safe environment at SXC sites and offices.
• Conduct site security induction for employees.
• Manage turnstile setup, CCTV and access control operations.
• Review security features and perform risk analyses when needed.
• Brief guards on patrol requirements and monitor movements.
• Record vehicular/personal movements and conduct foot patrols.
• Submit monthly overtime and incentive reports; plan rosters.
• Liaise with SPF, MOM and other authorities.
• Oversee contractor transport to dorms and worksites.
• Carry out security investigations and uphold safety practices.
