Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong audit and analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify broad trends.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in financial institutions conducting financial advisory activities.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight timelines.
• Experience reviewing reports, analysing data and assessing applications would be an advantage.
• Self-motivated and driven.

Responsibilities

• Part of a team responsible for supervising financial institutions conducting financial advisory and insurance broking activities.
• Respond to public queries on licensing, regulatory, supervisory and market conduct matters.
• Assess applications, notifications and regulatory filings submitted by financial institutions and their representatives.
• Support supervisory reviews, legislative change initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to discuss supervisory issues, regulatory developments and industry trends.
• Interact with other MAS departments and external parties such as audit firms, industry bodies, foreign regulators, and government agencies.
