Monetary Authority of Singapore is seeking a role within the Financial Advisers Supervision Department to strengthen supervisory capabilities over financial advisory institutions and insurers.
The role focuses on evaluating risk management, controls, and market conduct, while leveraging data analytics and AI to improve supervisory indicators and decision making. Regular interaction with external auditors, industry bodies, regulators, and other MAS teams is expected.
The Financial Advisers Supervision Department (FAS) is responsible for admitting and supervising financial advisory intermediaries (including banks and insurers that provide financial advisory services) and insurance brokers.
FAS supervises and administers rules and regulations under the Financial Advisers Act and Insurance Act (on parts relating to insurance intermediaries) to uphold standards of market conduct among intermediaries and their representatives.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
