Job summary

Ministry of Health (Singapore) seeks a Deputy Director in the Future Systems & Innovation Division to lead the AI strategy portfolio and translate the national healthcare AI roadmap, including the Healthcare AI Mission overseen by the National AI Council.

You will align priority use cases, scale enablers, fund and partner with providers to move AI from pilots to measurable health and productivity outcomes, and collaborate across FSID and external agencies in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

Significant experience in public policy and planning transformation, digital health, AI, innovation or healthcare system planning.
Strong systems thinking and ability to translate complex technology issues into clear policy choices and executable plans.
Demonstrated leadership in cross-organisational stakeholder management, partnership development and resource prioritisation.
Excellent written and oral communication, with the judgement to advise senior management and guide a multi-disciplinary team.
Strategic, outcomes-focused and comfortable working across ambiguity.
Pragmatic collaborator who can bridge policy, clinical, technology, operational and commercial perspectives.
Able to hold the big picture while driving disciplined follow-through on details, risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities

As Deputy Director, you will lead the AI strategy portfolio and translate the national healthcare AI roadmap, including the national Healthcare AI Mission (overseen by the National AI Council).
You will align priority use cases, scaling enablers, funding and partnerships for proven AI solution to move beyond pilots and deliver measure health and productivity outcomes. Given the fast evolving nature of health technologies, there will be opportunities to work closely with and in other FSID portfolios, as well as take on cross-divisional/agency workstreams.
