Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking an Assistant Director, AI Healthcare Projects Delivery to lead the translation of AI opportunities into implementable solutions. You will supervise the project delivery team, provide oversight or direct leadership across projects, and work with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders to deliver measurable value.

The role focuses on understanding operational problems, driving adoption, and ensuring governance, risk management and benefits tracking

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading complex digital or transformation projects through implementation and operational adoption.
• Evidence of helping stakeholders solve operational problems, managing difficult relationships and securing commitments without direct authority.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, clarify unfamiliar problems and develop reasoned recommendations.
• Practical experience of change management, utilisation monitoring and benefits tracking.
• Experience leading, training and coaching delivery teams, with evidence of improving others’ judgement and ability to deliver independently.
• Working understanding of AI concepts, implementation workflows, model limitations, evaluation, human oversight and monitoring.
• Clear writing, presentation and communication with frontline staff, technical teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, ownership, resources and milestones with sponsors and teams; coordinate delivery support within priorities and capacity.
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies, budgets and scope changes; propose actionable options and escalate decisions as needed.
• Understand stakeholders’ problems and workflows; shape practical solutions and secure commitments.
• Coordinate clinical, operational and technical teams, the DIS, data scientists and partners; obtain adviser input via governance.
• Work with owners on workflow changes, user engagement, training, readiness and handover into operations.
• Track utilisation and feedback; address adoption barriers and propose changes based on readiness and evidence.
• Agree benefit measures and baselines with sponsors and finance teams; track costs and realised value.
