Job summary

Tiong Seng Holdings Limited seeks a senior Commercial Lead to oversee commercial operations on construction projects in Singapore. You will manage cost evaluation, contract administration, and financial controls to drive project success.

You will lead a team, ensure contract compliance with REDAS, SIA, and PSSCOC, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and suppliers to secure favorable outcomes and protect company interests.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in industry contractual practices and standard contract forms such as REDAS, SIA, and PSSCOC.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in a Main Contractor role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to oversee commercial operational matters in construction projects
• Evaluate, perform value engineering, and negotiate cost and scope for procurement to recommend contract awards
• Administer contracts by providing contractual advice and resolving contractual issues effectively
• Evaluate and certify progress and variation claims for Main and Sub Contracts, including payments and final account settlements
• Manage project cash flow, budgeting, and cost control to ensure financial targets are met
• Liaise and collaborate with Project Teams, Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution

Education
