Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous
• Minimum 10 years of relevant banking experience in Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions, Syndicated Financing, and Credit Risk Assessment
• Proven experience in a senior leadership or management role
• Strong business development and relationship management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation and execution of Branch business strategies, objectives, plans, and targets
• Oversee Corporate Relationship, Financial Institutions, and Syndication units to align with Branch goals
• Drive business development and strengthen client relationships to expand market presence
• Set and monitor department performance goals to achieve Branch objectives
• Review and evaluate credit proposals to ensure compliance with policies
• Approve or reject credit facilities within delegated authority
• Recommend credit approvals or rejections for larger facilities to senior management
• Support development and marketing of banking products based on client needs
• Evaluate client requirements and suggest improvements to products and services
• Coordinate with Head Office and overseas offices to implement client solutions
• Ensure timely resolution of service issues and maintain high standards
• Provide guidance on banking products and services to teams and clients
• Handle escalated customer concerns to ensure satisfaction
• Contribute to development of automated branch systems for efficiency
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop staff to achieve objectives
• Implement talent management and succession planning
• Ensure training and professional development opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and financial institutions
• Promote mutually beneficial partnerships to support branch growth
