Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a dental assistant in Singapore to support the oral/dental surgeon during procedures and to help prepare the treatment room and instruments. The role includes chair-side assistance, taking X-rays, ensuring sterilisation, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.

The successful candidate will have prior dental experience assisting with jaw surgeries, perform stock checks, and may handle reception/admin duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have prior dental experience in assisting with jaw surgeries

Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon/dental surgeon during dental and surgical procedures
• Prepare the treatment/operating room, instruments, equipment and materials before surgery
• Assist with jaw surgeries and wisdom tooth surgeries
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures
• Take dental X-rays/radiographs
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilised and maintained
• Follow strict infection-control and workplace safety protocols
• Prepare patients and get them settled in the treatment room
• Provide basic post-operative instructions/care to patients
• Maintain clinical equipment, instruments and medical supplies
• Perform stock checks and ensure sufficient supplies are available
• Assist with reception/admin duties when required, including patient queries and appointments
• Maintain a clean and organised clinical environment.
