Responsibilities

• Chairside Assistance: pass instruments and manage suction during examinations and procedures.
• Radiography: take and develop digital or traditional x-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Patient Preparation: greet patients, seat them, and prepare them for appointments.
• Clinical Procedures: take impressions for crowns/dentures and apply topical anesthetics as permitted.
• Infection Control: adhere to sterilization protocols compliant with OSHA/HIPAA.
• Equipment Care: maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment and ensure supplies are ready.
• Inventory Management: monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
• Patient Education: instruct patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
