Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Demand Planner to collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations in Singapore. The role focuses on accurate forecasting and inventory optimization to support service levels.

You will analyze historical data, align the forecast with supply constraints, and present insights to cross-functional teams. 3 years in supply chain plus SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or business administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain roles.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and planning skills.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive operation effectiveness, achieve on service level and optimum inventory.
• Conduct historical analysis to provide insights into future forecast.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing team to gather market intelligence and new project launches to integrate into Demand Plan.
• Maximize the effectiveness of the statistical forecast by adjusting/cleansing historical demand and determining appropriate levels of aggregation for calculating the statistical forecast.
• Work closely with supply planning and production planning team to understand the supply capability and constraint relating to forecast change and volume adjustment.
• Leverage forecast performance metrics tools to measure accuracy, assess the quality and frequency of overrides, assess forecast bias, and identify the key contributors to forecast variance to improve the overall forecast accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain / engineering / business administration or related field
• 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain roles
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Strong interpersonal skill, communication, presentation, dynamic, well planning result-oriented and active on social networking.
• Experience in SAP is preferred.
