Job summary

AstraZeneca Singapore ADC Site is seeking an Engineering Specialist Automation (DeltaV) to own site-wide automation systems, drive stability, throughput, and right-first-time performance. You will work with manufacturing, quality, engineering and IT to deliver continuous improvement and robust data practices.

You will coordinate small teams, influence technical decisions, and help build an intelligent, data-rich environment with proactive issue resolution and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience in DeltaV, PLC, MES, LIMS and Historian systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory standards.
• Experience in project management.
• Understanding of SHE standards and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Own site automation lifecycle for DeltaV and related systems.
• Plan and execute automation projects, coordinating small teams.
• Maintain DeltaV DCS in a regulated environment with backups and reviews.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and control logic to minimize downtime.
• Implement configurations with traceability and audit readiness.
• Integrate DeltaV with PLCs, Historians, MES and LIMS for better data flow.
• Contribute to FAT/SAT, commissioning and qualification.
• Prepare documentation for inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, validation, maintenance and IT.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to improve analysis and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
