Job summary

AstraZeneca Singapore Pte Ltd invites engineers to join its DeltaV-centric automation team at the new biologics campus in Singapore. You will own lifecycle management of site-wide automation systems, focusing on DeltaV DCS and connected platforms, driving reliability, throughput and compliance.

This role requires pragmatic engineering leadership, collaboration across manufacturing, quality, engineering and digital/IT, and ability to balance day-to-day support with future upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Mastery in understanding of principles and concepts in technical area of engineering.
• Experience in DeltaV/PLC/MES/LIMS/Historian.
• Experience in project management.
• Sound understanding of cGMP, SHE standards, Standard Operating Procedures and local regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management for on-site automation systems and provide expert consultancy to stakeholders.
• Plan and execute automation projects from concept to implementation, coordinating small teams.
• Maintain and enhance DeltaV DCS in a regulated environment for stable operations.
• Support audits and documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.
