Job summary

Anter Consulting in Singapore is seeking an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer to support a global automation project in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setting. You will focus on automation documentation, configuration support and commissioning readiness, while working onsite with engineering, manufacturing, quality and validation teams.

This contract runs for one year and covers DeltaV batch configuration, project execution and commissioning, with responsibilities to maintain documentation,

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Automation, Electrical, Chemical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of hands-on DeltaV Batch Automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISA-88 batch control standards.
• Experience with Equipment Module Classes and Phase Classes in DeltaV.
• Experience with recipe configuration and management in DeltaV.
• GMP-regulated environment experience and document control.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain automation project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure documents are complete, accurate and properly controlled.
• Support DeltaV batch activities, including Equipment Module Classes and Phase Classes.
• Review configurations against approved specifications and ISA-88 standards.
• Assist with the review and implementation of automation system configurations.
• Support commissioning, including coordination, issue tracking and documentation completion.
• Troubleshoot, resolve punch-lists and close automation issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and validation stakeholders.
• Support GMP compliance and data-integrity principles.
• Monitor activities, report progress, risks and technical issues on time.
• Prepare reports, trackers, and process flows using Office and Visio.

We are hiring an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer to support a global engineering automation project in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, you will focus on automation documentation, configuration support and commissioning readiness.

You will also work onsite with engineering, manufacturing, quality and validation teams. As a result, the project stays on track, compliant and ready for commissioning.

This is a one-year contract position. However, the work offers real depth, covering DeltaV batch configuration, project execution and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain automation project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure documents are complete, accurate and properly controlled
• Support DeltaV batch activities, including Equipment Module Classes, Phase Classes and recipes
• Review configurations against approved specifications and ISA-88 standards
• Assist with the review and implementation of automation system configurations
• Support commissioning, including coordination, issue tracking and documentation completion
• Also assist with troubleshooting, punch-list resolution and closure of automation issues
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and validation stakeholders
• Support compliance with GMP requirements and data-integrity principles
• Monitor assigned activities and report progress, risks and technical issues on time
• Prepare reports, trackers, presentations and process flows using Microsoft Office and Visio

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or diploma in Automation, Electrical, Chemical or Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum three years of hands-on DeltaV Batch Automation experience
• Strong working knowledge of ISA-88 batch control standards
• Hands-on development or configuration of Equipment Module Classes and Phase Classes
• Experience with recipe configuration and management in DeltaV
• Proven support of automation projects and commissioning in a GMP-regulated environment
• Familiarity with documentation control, technical reviews, testing and issue resolution
• Good understanding of GMP requirements and controlled engineering procedures
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio
• Strong documentation, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment
• Ability to manage priorities and meet project timelines
