Job summary

ANTER CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support a global engineering automation project within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

The contract position focuses on automation documentation, configuration support, project execution, commissioning activities, and commissioning readiness. You will manage project documentation, support DeltaV batch automation, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and validation teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on DeltaV Batch Automation experience.
• Solid understanding of ISA-88 batch control standards.
• Experience developing or configuring Equipment Module Class.
• Experience developing or configuring Phase Class.
• Experience in recipe configuration and implementation in DeltaV.
• Experience supporting automation projects, commissioning, and GMP environments.
• Familiarity with automation documentation control, reviews, testing, and issue resolution.
• Strong GMP, automation standards, and controlled engineering procedures knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Visio.
• Strong documentation, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain automation project documentation and technical deliverables.
• Ensure automation documents are complete, controlled, and aligned with requirements.
• Support commissioning activities, coordination, issue tracking, and documentation.
• Assist with automation system configuration reviews and implementations.
• Support DeltaV batch activities, including Equipment Module Classes and Phase Classes.
• Review configurations for ISA-88 alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, validation, and other stakeholders.
• Support GMP compliance and data-integrity principles.
• Assist with troubleshooting, punch-list resolution, and closure of issues.
• Monitor progress, risks, and technical issues; provide timely updates.
• Provide general automation engineering support to achieve milestones and readiness.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, presentations, trackers, and process flows using Office/Visio.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support a global engineering automation project within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This is a one-year contract position focused on automation documentation, configuration support, project execution, commissioning activities, and commissioning readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain automation project documentation and technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure automation documents are complete, accurate, properly controlled, and aligned with project requirements.
• Support commissioning activities, including execution coordination, issue tracking, and documentation completion.
• Assist with the review and implementation of automation system configurations.
• Support DeltaV batch automation activities, including Equipment Module Classes, Phase Classes, and recipe configuration.
• Review automation configurations for alignment with approved specifications, ISA-88 standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, validation, and other project stakeholders during project execution.
• Support compliance with applicable automation standards, procedures, GMP requirements, and data-integrity principles.
• Assist with troubleshooting, punch-list resolution, and the closure of automation-related issues.
• Monitor assigned activities and provide timely updates on progress, risks, and technical issues.
• Provide general automation engineering support to achieve project milestones and commissioning readiness.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience with DeltaV Batch Automation.
• Strong understanding and practical application of ISA-88 batch control standards.
• Hands‑on experience with Equipment Module Class development or configuration.
• Hands‑on experience with Phase Class development or configuration.
• Experience in recipe configuration, management, and implementation within DeltaV.
• Experience supporting automation projects, commissioning activities, and project execution in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with automation documentation control, technical reviews, testing, and issue resolution.
• Good understanding of GMP requirements, automation standards, and controlled engineering procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio.
• Strong documentation, coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in an onsite project environment.
• Able to manage priorities and deliver assigned activities according to project timelines.
