Job summary

Private Advertiser in Holland Village, Singapore, seeks a responsible Family Tutor & Family Assistant to support a child’s learning, daily schedule, and family arrangements. Hours: Mon–Fri 12:00 PM–8:30 PM; Sat/Sun 8:00 AM–8:00 PM; off day to be discussed.

Responsibilities include tutoring, managing homework, and coordinating appointments, travel, and activities. Ideal candidate is patient, well-organised, and committed to a long-term position.

Qualifications

• Experience in private tutoring or child education preferred.
• Must be responsible, detail-oriented, patient, and able to communicate with children.
• Well-organised with strong time management skills.
• Able to commit to a stable and long-term position.

Responsibilities

• Tutor and supervise the child in completing school assignments and homework.
• Assist the child in revising English, Mathematics, and other subjects.
• Accompany the child in reading, practising, and following learning plans.
• Monitor school notices, class schedules, and extracurricular activities.
• Assist with school pick-ups and drop-offs and transportation to enrichment classes.
• Help organise the child’s school bag, learning materials, and study resources.
• Assist with family scheduling, appointments, and daily administrative matters.
• Provide companionship and care for the child when required by parents.
• Maintain regular communication with the parents and provide progress updates.
