Job summary

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) invites an experienced professional to help shape decarbonisation technology priorities and partner with industry to drive sustainable growth in Singapore.

You will build trusted relationships with companies across manufacturing and industrial sectors, translate industry needs into clear R&D opportunities, and work with government and partners to deploy innovative solutions in line with national priorities.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in energy, industrial decarbonisation, environmental sustainability, engineering, R&D or related fields.
Good understanding of industrial decarbonisation, sustainability, R&D or related technology areas.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop clear recommendations.
Strong business acumen and industry orientation with the ability to understand operational and commercial considerations.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Understand industry needs and identify opportunities in Singapore’s manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Assess technologies and shape R&D priorities aligned with Singapore’s climate and economic priorities.
Build partnerships and develop projects across the DGC, engaging research institutions, tech providers and partners.
Collaborate across EDB and government agencies to drive demonstrations and deployment.
