Job summary

Advanced Energy & Decarbonisation Office (AEDO) at A*STAR in Singapore seeks a technically adept professional to join the RIE Management and TEA teams. You will identify technologies for decarbonising Singapore’s power sector, develop TEA frameworks, evaluate projects, and monitor progress of decarbonisation initiatives aligned with national policy.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years for SM-role or 5–8 years for SAD-role in power systems or energy deployment.
• Experience with techno-economic analyses and project management.

Responsibilities

• Identify technologies critical for decarbonising Singapore's power sector.
• Develop TEA frameworks and evaluate technologies for scalable decarbonisation.
• Manage R&D projects and coordinate with agencies and external partners.
• Prepare technical reports for senior leadership.
