Job summary

The Ministry of Law invites applications for a role in the Individual Insolvency and Debt Repayment Scheme Division of the Insolvency & Public Trustee's Office (IPTO). You will handle all areas of case administration under the Debt Repayment Scheme and engage debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders.

You will assess applications, verify assets and liabilities, schedule creditor meetings, monitor plans, process payments, and review cases for cessation.

Qualifications

• Academic background in accountancy, finance, economics, business administration or law.
• Meticulous and able to multi-task with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and be a proactive team member.

Responsibilities

• Assess debtor applications to be placed under the Debt Repayment Scheme.
• Examine documents to verify assets and liabilities.
• Schedule and conduct creditor meetings to determine repayment plans.
• Monitor repayment plans and liaise with debtors, creditors and stakeholders.
• Process payments to creditors and review cases for cessation of plans.

Education

Academic training preferably in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Law
