The Opportunity

A well-established education institution in Singapore is seeking a Dean at a pivotal moment of transformation, with a clear mandate to raise academic ambition. This is a rare opening within an institution that is stable, well-resourced, and actively expanding its reach beyond Singapore.

This role is ideal for a leader currently running a school or faculty who is ready to oversee the academic pillar of an entire institution.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to executive leadership, the Dean holds end-to-end ownership of academic strategy, curriculum quality, and faculty leadership across the program portfolio, alongside the divisional budget.
• Governance & Quality: Set and uphold robust quality assurance and governance frameworks, leading accreditation exercises with local regulators and international bodies.
• Curriculum Innovation: Spearhead curriculum development by reviewing and strengthening the portfolio, expanding blended and online delivery, and thoughtfully integrating AI to ensure graduate relevance.
• Faculty & Growth Leadership: Lead a sizeable academic body through direct-report academic leaders and shape the academic dimension of the institution's regional expansion.

Requirements

• Qualifications : Suitably qualified with a PhD, EdD, or DBA.
• Experience : Proven senior academic leadership background, including managing other academic leaders, with deep expertise in academic governance, quality assurance, and curriculum design. Local or international accreditation exposure is an advantage.
• Personal : Strong executive presence - articulate, credible, and comfortable engaging with boards, partners, and regulators.
