Eden Day Activity Centre seeks a dedicated Day Activity Centre (DAC) Associate Coach to support adults with autism and help create a nurturing, growth-oriented environment at our Hougang location.

As a DAC Associate Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' development and well-being. Here are some key responsibilities that make this position both rewarding and fulfilling:
To be proactive in expanding one's personal knowledge of autism and relevant teaching strategies.
To assist in identifying clients’ areas of needs, formulating life goals & objectives, and developing person-centered plans (PCPs)
To implement the PCPs as agreed and instructed by the Head of Centre
To assist in the review of PCPs and to make recommendations and changes where required
To maintain open communications with the clients’ parents / care-givers pertaining to the progress, development and care of clients
To ensure the basic needs of clients are met while at the Centre, e.g. toileting, eating, drinking, resting, social-emotional regulation, sensory supports, etc.
To ensure the safety of all clients and staff
To assist in maintaining and improving the Centre's physical environment
To assist in the maintenance and inventory control of training tools and materials
To attend regular contact time sessions, and staff development programmes
At least an ITE Certification/O Level/A Level/ Diploma from a recognized educational institution
Relevant experience in the fields of Special Education, Nursing, Counselling or Care services is preferred
Experience in Community Service with exposure to youths / adults with autism is an added advantage

Committed to the education and nurturing of youths / adults with autism
