Job summary

Ascendion Engineering Solutions Singapore Pte. Ltd is seeking a Software System Engineer to manage Day 2 production support, DevOps, deployments, troubleshooting, and system reliability in a 24/7 environment.

You will handle incident troubleshooting, RCA, and ensure continuous service availability. Responsibilities include CI/CD pipeline builds with GitLab/Jenkins, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes/Podman, and support across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, Software System Engineering, Production/Application Support, or Platform Support.
• Proficient in Linux administration and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Podman in production environments.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python and basic PowerShell is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot production incidents and perform RCA.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 operational environment.

Responsibilities
