Job summary

MAESTRO HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Software System Engineer to support Day 2 operations, maintenance, and enhancement of mission-critical systems in a 24/7 environment.

The role focuses on stability, security, and operational readiness. You will bring hands-on DevOps expertise, middleware and platform support, container technologies, CI/CD pipeline management, and strong troubleshooting and deployment automation skills to work with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in software system engineering, DevOps engineering, application support, and production support.
Applicants with no experience are welcomed to apply.
Experience in government or large-scale enterprise environments will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Day 2 Operations & Support for mission-critical apps and platform services.
Incident investigation, troubleshooting, RCA, and issue resolution.
Support production deployment activities, rollbacks, and post-deployment verification.
Monitor system health, performance, logs, and alerts.
Collaborate with Day 1 support, infrastructure, development, cybersecurity, and project stakeholders.
Participate in standby and after-hours support when required.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures, governance, and security policies.
CI/CD & DevOps Engineering: build, maintain, and optimize pipelines.
