Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Database Administrator to manage and maintain databases in Singapore. The candidate should have a degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience with Oracle and MS SQL Server databases. Responsibilities include database design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. The role offers a competitive salary of up to $9000 plus performance bonus, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6:30pm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database and MS SQL Server database.
• Good understanding and experience in database maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Familiar with SQL script language.
• Good understanding of Oracle RAC, SQL Server HA solution.
• Good problem-solving skills and team player.
• Experience with MySQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing, monitoring and maintaining databases.
• Maintaining database backup and recovery.
• Provide solution related to database design and SQL writing to Application Developers.
• Implement change requests related to development in database such as table design, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Develop and deploy data patch SQL scripts.
• Provide solution for SQL query tuning.
• Perform installation, upgrade and migration of databases.
• Perform regular database patching and hardening.
