Job summary

TG Singapore seeks an experienced Database Administrator to install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL databases across Windows and Linux environments.

You will monitor performance, optimize queries, manage backups and security, and collaborate with infrastructure and development teams. On-call support is required to ensure 24/7 availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Experience with SQL Server 2012–2017 and Oracle 11g/12c is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of database performance troubleshooting and optimization.
• Practical knowledge of database backup, recovery, indexing, maintenance, and patching.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Understanding of database security, access controls, and security delegation.
• Knowledge of cloud database services, including Amazon RDS or equivalent technologies, is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled 24/7 support or on‑call arrangements where required.
