Job summary

Tech Aalto is seeking an experienced Data Project Manager to lead data-driven transformation initiatives for clients in a consulting environment. You will bridge business, data, and technology teams to ensure governance and successful delivery.

The role requires hands-on project management, strong client-facing communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across data platforms, governance, and analytics delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• N/A
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing data-related, data transformation, analytics, or technology projects.
• Experience in consulting or client delivery environments.
• Proven governance, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong coordination of multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics transformation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance structures, status reports, and delivery docs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, data, technology, architecture, and operations.
• Establish governance, reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and change-control processes.
• Engage senior client stakeholders to align objectives and manage expectations.
• Translate requirements into structured deliverables and data initiatives.
• Monitor progress, budgets, resources, dependencies, quality, and risks.
• Facilitate meetings, steering committees, workshops, and reviews.
• Identify delivery challenges and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure alignment of business outcomes, data strategy, and IT delivery.
• Support testing, implementation planning, and post-go-live reviews.
• Contribute to proposals, SOWs, estimates, and client pursuits.
• Support presales with discovery, proposals, and effort estimates.
