Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics transformation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance structures, status reports, and delivery docs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, data, technology, architecture, and operations.
• Establish governance, reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and change-control processes.
• Engage senior client stakeholders to align objectives and manage expectations.
• Translate requirements into structured deliverables and data initiatives.
• Monitor progress, budgets, resources, dependencies, quality, and risks.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Project Manager tolead and deliver data-driven transformation initiatives for our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics transformation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance structures, status reports, and delivery documentation.
• Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, data, technology, architecture, and operations stakeholders.
• Establish effective project governance, reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and change-control processes.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand business objectives, communicate progress, and manage expectations.
• Translate business requirements into structured project deliverables and actionable data initiatives.

• Promote consistent project management practices, standards, and lessons learned across engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with organizational processes, quality standards, and client requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of5 years of project management experience.
• At least3 years of experience managing data-related, data transformation, analytics, or technology projects.
• Experience managing projects in a consulting, systems integration, technology services, or client delivery environment.
• Proven experience managing project governance, stakeholder communication, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery reporting.
• Strong experience coordinating multiple workstreams and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects in fast-paced and changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with aTier 1 technology consulting or professional services firm.
• Experience delivering projects involving data platforms, data migration, data governance, data quality, business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or cloud data transformation.
• Experience supporting presales activities, proposal development, statements of work, or client pursuits.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid, or scaled delivery methodologies.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Understanding of data governance, data architecture, data privacy, data quality, and analytics delivery concepts.
